Privacy Policy
Effective September 26, 2026 · Updated November 1, 2026
This policy explains how Park Charter LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles information for the LikePose app (the “App”) and this website (the “Site”). LikePose is made for players of all ages, including children, so we designed it to collect as little as possible: the App does not collect any personal information.
1. Information the App collects
None. The App has no accounts or sign-in, no chat or messaging, no advertising, and no third-party analytics, advertising, tracking or social-media tools (SDKs). It does not ask for or access your name, email, phone number, location, contacts, photos, microphone or device identifiers for tracking. The camera is used only if your child chooses to add a friend side by side by scanning a code in the App: the image is read on the device to find the code and is never saved or sent anywhere. A friend added this way (a made-up name and an avatar look) is saved only on the device. The App does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
Age checks where the law requires them. Some US states, such as Texas, require apps to check a player’s age category through the app store. Where Apple says this applies, the App asks Apple for an age range using Apple’s own system screen. We never get a birthdate. The App uses the age range on the device for that check and then discards it: it is not saved, logged or sent to us. If a parent or guardian must approve a significant update, Apple handles the request, and the App only remembers on the device which updates were approved or are waiting.
2. Game data stays on your device
Your avatar, looks, pretend posts, captions, items, squishies and progress are stored only on your own iPhone or iPad. They are never sent to us, and we cannot see them. The in-game “followers” and “likes” are simulated by the App; no real people see your posts. Deleting the App deletes this data. Apple’s device backups (such as iCloud Backup) may include it under Apple’s own privacy policy.
Reminders. After a few posts, the App may offer one optional evening reminder. It is off unless you say yes and allow notifications. It is scheduled on your device by iOS; no server, account or push token is involved, and nothing is sent to us. You can turn it off in the App (You → Settings) or in your device’s Settings.
3. Information from Apple
Apple may share with us aggregated, anonymous statistics about the App (such as downloads, sessions and crash counts), and crash reports only if you chose to share them with app developers in your device settings. This information does not identify you. See Apple’s privacy policy at apple.com/legal/privacy.
4. Purchases
The App is free to play and never requires a purchase. Some versions offer optional in-app purchases. They are processed entirely by Apple and protected by a parent check, and a grown-up can turn them off in the App’s Settings. We never receive your payment details or any information about who made a purchase.
5. This website
The Site uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising. Like any website, our hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) automatically processes technical information such as IP addresses and browser type in server logs to deliver and secure the Site; we do not use this to identify or profile visitors.
6. When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to answer you, and we delete it within 90 days after your question is answered, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. Please do not send us personal information about a child. If a child emails us, we use the email address only to respond once (or to reach a parent), and then delete it.
7. Children’s privacy (COPPA)
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and the App gives players no way to send us personal information or to share it with others. If we ever want to add a feature that would collect personal information from children (for example, playing with friends), we will first update this policy and obtain verifiable parental consent as the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act requires. Parents may contact us at any time with questions, or to ask us to delete any information we may have received (for example, an email from their child).
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/UK under the GDPR, or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the use of your personal information. Because the App collects none, we generally hold no information about you. If you have emailed us, you can ask us to access or delete that email by writing to us. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
9. Security and retention
We keep information only for these set times:
- Game data never leaves your device, so we never hold it. It stays protected by your device’s own security until you delete the App.
- An email from a child is used only to reply once (or to reach a parent) and is deleted right after that reply.
- An email from a parent or other adult is deleted within 90 days after the question is answered, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
The only personal information we ever receive is what arrives in our support inbox. We keep a written information security plan for protecting it and for deleting it on the schedule above.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above before the change takes effect. If a change would involve collecting personal information, we will ask for consent where the law requires it (including verifiable parental consent for children).
